TIRANA, June 8 /ATA/ -The Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha said that as the president cancelled the June 30 local elections, the attempt of holding mono-party elections failed.
Speaking at the DP headquarters at the close of the opposition protest, Basha said that, “We must be determined to take the battle toward victory”.
Basha reiterated his stance of a transitory government without PM Rama and early elections.
The DP leader concluded by saying that they are the majority.
“We want European values and standards. We want elections of European standards”, emphasized Basha./p.s./
