TIRANA, May 27 /ATA/ – By A. Fortuzi/ – The Ministry of Justice brought together inter-institutional stakeholders committed to aligning the Albanian legislation with chapter 23 of negotiations.
This chapter includes important legal and institutional issues pertaining to judiciary and fundamental human rights. In its capacity as leading institution for Chapter 23, Ministry of Justice under the stewardship of deputy minister Caka coordinated the work in the subsequent months on preparation of an analysis of legal gaps in Albanian legislation relative to the EU acquis, which is an important exercise in the process of EU accession negotiations.
She extended her thanks to institutions engaged in Chapter 23 as well as national and international partners such as GIZ, EURALIUS and high – level advisory group for technical assistance they have provided on a constant basis.
