TIRANA, May 19 /ATA/- Vlora has officially kicked off the tourist season 2019 against a backdrop of concert performances by renowned names of Albanian music and a fireworks display.
Under the slogan “Lungomare on fest,” hundreds of Vlora citizens and others from different cities enjoyed the magical atmosphere.
PM Edi Rama wishes a nice Sunday to all his followers on social networks with snaps of festivities on the occasion of the kickoff of tourist season in Vlora.
A number of activities have been held in the follow-up to the kickoff of tourist season and the grand concert held at Lungomare Vlora is a welcome to local and foreign tourists alike.
“Come to Vlora”, is the invitation of municipality which aims to turn this city into the centre of summer tourism.
The mayor Dritan Leli says that this welcoming atmosphere will dominate Vlora throughout summer. “This concert is a good omen for 2019 summer. This season will be the best of all years and an example for all cities that depend on tourism,” he said.
“My message to all is that Vlora is a safe destination and all families can come and live to Vlora which is a safe city. The priority is to attract families to spend their holidays to Vlora. This city has a lot to tell as its hospitality is the main feature,” Leli said.
