TIRANA, May 19 /ATA/- The first four months 2019 have seen 30 348 passengers arrive in Saranda port by the ferries of Saranda-Corfuz line, tourist vessels as well as cruisers.
Director of Saranda port, Kozeta Statha, told ATA that the number of foreign passengers was 11985, whereas the Albanian passengers number 18 363.”
“January- April has seen the number of tourists increase thrice as high compared to the corresponding period last year which saw 15 ,036 passengers,” – Statha said.
According to her, the first four months 2019 have seen 12, 710 passengers leave via the port, 2018 has seen 6,470.
Director Statha reports that over this period revenue collections have increased three times as high with ALL 12 879 000 in 2019 and ALL 4 534 000 in 2018.
Saranda situated at the bay of Ionian sea is depicted as one of the gems of Albania Riviera.
