TIRANA, May 16/ATA/-The Co-Chairman of the Commission on Electoral Reform Damian Gjiknuri said that the local elections of June 30 will not be postponed. But, according to him, there should be found space for the opposition to take part in the electoral process.
“There will be no postponement of the local elections of June 30. We should do the utmost for the opposition to take part in the elections. The registration deadlines of the political parties has passed, but there should be found space for the opposition to take part in the electoral process”, said he while in Vlora.
The Democratic Party and Socialist Movement for Integration have decided to send representatives to the Commissions of Electoral Administration Zones./j.p/p.s./
