TIRANA, May 16/ATA/ – The Albanian government has decided to expand the number of Diabetes Test Strips free of charge for citizens.
In addition to young people aged 0-18 , Diabetes Test Strips free of charge will be also provided for individuals up to 25 years of age in the hospitals.
According to a government estimate, the total number of Diabetes Test Strips per year necessary for patients is 868 700.
Blood glucose test strips are small disposable plastic strips which, play a very significant role when it comes to helping people living with diabetes to appropriately monitor and control the condition.//a.i/
