Integrated communication platform for public administration, Spiropali: Exceptional achievement

TIRANA, April 26 /ATA/ – The Council of Europe and the Swiss Embassy, in cooperation with the government of Albania, launched Friday a new portal for public administration, a comprehensive human resource management platform for all levels of administration. The activity also marks the completion of the project ‘Strengthening Local Governance Structures.’

“In 2015, this project electronically registered for the first time all local govt. employees – from the cleaners to the mayors. Today, this platform is even more complete to transform into a tool that improves the management of human resources. It guarantees more transparency, equality and accountability to employees, citizens, and within government structures,”the Swiss Ambassador Adrian Maître said in his remarks.

On behalf of Albanian government, State Minister for Relations with Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, said: “Integrated communication platform for public administration – administrata.al – designed as a source of information on human resources management procedures, is an exceptional achievement. Moreover, the platform also being a reporting tool provides real reports and up-to-date information on key indicators such as recruitment, dismissals, promotions, disciplinary procedures, etc.”

The portal links up public institutions and streamlines human resources management processes by reorganizing all the functions in one place. It brings real benefits to all those involved in human resource management as well as to the public.

“The public administration portal launched today is a major step towards a more effective, transparent, inclusive and accessible Albanian administration that will improve service delivery and public confidence in democratic institutions,” said the head of the Office of Council of Europe, Jutta Gützkow.
