TIRANA, April 25/ATA/-Arta Mandro, Helena Papa and Aurel Borici are the three candidates that will be forwarded to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and continue further the competition for selection of Albania’s member to the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT).
The Parliamentary sub-commission “On the human rights” along with the permanent delegation of the Assembly of Albania to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe convened today on the selection procedure of the candidates for Albania’s member to the CPT.
After they got acquainted with the experts’ report on the candidates, the sub-commission and the delegation approved the list of the three candidates for the post. /gj.mima/ /a.g/p.s./
