TIRANA, April 25 /ATA/-The law approved by consensus by the Socialist Party (SP) and the Democratic Party (DP) stipulates up to 7 years imprisonment for everyone who hampers elections in Albania.
Speaking at the Parliament, Prime Minister Edi Rama drew the attention to the legal sanctions on everyone who hampers the elections and which are stipulated in the law initiated by the Democratic Party when it was in government and voted by consensus of the Socialist Party which was then in opposition.
“We have made together a law on all those who attempt to affect elections”, said PM Rama.
The prime minister also wondered if there are people in Albania ready to come against this law voted by the Parliament as an initiative of the DP and supported by the SP./a.g/p.s./
