TIRANA, April 24/ATA/-2018 has been a rather positive year for the doctors as 168 doctors have got employed in the medical centres countrywide.
According to data provided by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, during 2018 in addition to the high number of the Albanian doctors employed in the health system, it is noticed even a demand of the foreign doctors to work in Albania and 65 of them were employed in our country.
Likewise, the report highlights that last year 10 Albanian doctors specialized abroad have returned home.
In his “60 seconds” feature on the Facebook, Prime Minister Edi Rama highlights the report published by the Doctor’s Society in Germany in 2018 showing that a total of 630 Albanian doctors were employed in that country.
This phenomenon does not affect only our country as the highest number of doctors working in Germany is from Romania with 4666 doctors, more than 3 thousand from Greece and more than 1500 doctors from Italy.
