TIRANA, April 18 /ATA/ “Under this govt. no media have been blackmailed and no freedoms have been denied,” – PM Edi Rama stated in response to the report on media released by world organization “Reporters without borders.”
Rama stressed that a lot remains to be done to guarantee freedom of the media and differentiate between the streams of information and the trash media.
“A reminder to “the virgins” who killed citizens, beat and injured journalists while today preach morality! Yet, a lot remains to be done to protect the freedom of the media and differentiate the streams of information from the trash media either. The truth of the matter is that under this govt. no media outlet has been blackmailed and no freedom has been suppressed,” Rama said.
