TIRANA, April 11 /ATA/ – By A. Fortuzi/ – Minister of Interior, Sandër Lleshaj, stated that the gang which committed the armed robbery in “Nënë Tereza” international airport on Tuesday has been hit and thanks to investigations it will be fully dismantled.
In a televised interview on Thursday evening, minister Lleshaj said that the stolen amount is more than EUR 5 mln, meanwhile State Police have gathered crucial evidence with regard to the incident.
“The dynamics has been already revealed. I do not think there is any interest in how it all played out.
It was a very serious incident that has affected an important part of our infrastructure. We have reacted quickly like never before, bringing the situation under control, hitting the target and insuring important, useful evidence to throw light on the incident and hold suspects to account, “said Lleshaj.
