TIRANA, April 3/ATA/- “We have opened 2000 new jobs for the students on teaching practice not only in the public administration, but even in the private sector”, said on Wednesday Education Minister Besa Shahini.
She made the statement during an interview on ERTV on the process of implementation of the government Pact with the University, a process in which the ministry is committed and has begun to fulfill its commitments.
She highlighted the main achievement of the Pact with the University, i.e. cutting by half of the tuition fees and scholarships for excellent students and certain categories. “10 thousand students benefit scholarships”, said Shahini.
According to the minister, the University of Tirana faces a problem with IT system and that has made it difficult access to the digital library. But, she promised to resolve it soon./e.xh/r.e/p.s./
