TIRANA, April 3/ATA/-During the conversation held with the students and university teachers at the COD on Wednesday, Prime Minister Edi Rama pointed to the Rector of Tirana University as the only one who is not aware of the students’ December protests.
“Following protest everything changed, but not Rector”, said PM Rama.
The prime minister said that the Law on Higher Education empowers the students to make university heads and rectors hold responsibility.
“This would be a healthy way and set a new standard”, said the prime minister.
According to the prime minister, the university autonomy is students’ responsibility, too./e.caushi/p.s./
