TIRANA, March 25 /ATA/- Bank of Albania announces that remittances amounted to EUR 670 mln in 2018 marking an increase of 5,3% as compared to the previous year.
This is the highest level since 2012, while one year later in 2013 the emigrants’ remittances hit an all time low dropping to EUR 545 mln.
However, after 2013, the remittances of emigrants rebounded to hit roughly EUR 34 mln, the highest level in the last six years.
