TIRANA, March 23/ATA/- “Tirana has experienced development at the time it was led by the actual Prime Minister Edi Rama. In 2015, we took over the revival of the capital after 4 years and began implementation of several projects that are transforming Tirana into a European centre”.
Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj made the statement today during the event “Municipality we want” at “Mother Teresa” square in context of the second session of the congress of the Socialist Party.
He said: “We are determined to continue Tirana transformation and development will prevail over destruction.”
Expressing the wish to continue the work begun even during the next 4 years, Veliaj pledged to complete the projects undertaken. And he also pledged to undertake other projects that will change the face of the capital and other administrative units of Tirana.
“If the 100 thousand people in the square meet and convince other people to join, then we shall have an unstoppable power of change”, emphasized Veliaj.
The mayor highlighted the investments made in every unit of the capital.
But, he also mentioned the investments in the outskirts of Tirana like in Pezë, Ndroq, Krrabë, Bërzhitë, Farkë, Petrelë, Dajti, and elsewhere.
“Beyond a minority that makes much ado, there is a silent majority that accepts no bullying or that a small group defines the agenda of the majority”, said Veliaj.
He concluded by calling on the people: “Are you ready for victory in all Albania?”/k.s/p.s./
