TIRANA, March 13 /ATA/ – Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj expressed his gratitude for the support that Germany and Chancellor Merkel have provided for Albania’s European Union integration path.
During his official visit to Berlin, the Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj met with the Foreign Policy Advisor to the German Federal Chancellor, Angela Merkel, Jan Hecker.
In his speech, Cakaj briefed Hecker on the current situation of Albania, the reforms progress, undertaken by the Albanian government so far, the fight against organized crime, regional cooperation and Albania’s contribution to security issues.
