TIRANA, July 18/ATA/-For the first time, Albania will have a law on the youth which will guarantee empowerment of the youth. Albania’s Deputy Minister of Youth Shpati Kolgega said on ERTV that work is underway for drafting of the law following consultations with all the youth organizations in its first phase.
For the first time, there will be held consultations even online and every Albanian young man who wishes to share his views and address youth concerns can have his say.
Kolgega said that the law was a necessity and an early requirement of the civil society and youth organizations.
The law stipulates financial support for the youth projects in local level and the establishment of the youth centres and youth councils.
The law also makes it obligatory for the town halls to establish youth centres if they want to benefit from the Ministry of Education funds, said Kolgega. /j.p/p.s./
