TIRANA, June 29 /ATA/-Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Friday during meeting with the EU ambassadors in Tirana and the representatives of the European integration structures at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the affiliated ministries that there are no additional conditions attached to Albania opening the EU accession negotiations.
“Europe has attached no condition, but has emphasized the limitations of the process in this phase”, said PM Rama.
According to PM Rama, it is a question of consistency of every aspect of organization of our state with organization of a state of EU standards.
The prime minister emphasized that what has been defined in these 12 months has nothing more than what our programme of reforms carries.
“We would continue the vetting, the setting up of the new justice institutions and fight against corruption even if the negotiations would have not opened. This is not a process for Europe, but for building a European state”, concluded PM Rama./k.s/ /a.g/p.s./
