TIRANA, June 22 /ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ – Projects like Skanderbeg square, Lungomare or waterfront promenade of Himara have a great impact on development of communities and image of the country.
In the light of public accountability tour, Prime Minister Edi Rama stopped Friday in Himara, where he met with residents of the area.
PM Rama cited the international prize for European public space awarded to Skanderbeg square.
Among the 25 finalists for this prize selected from all cities across Europe were Lungomare and Himara’s water-front promenade.
All this implies the impact of these projects on community and image of the country, Rama said.
