TIRANA, June 22 /ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ –Himara has a great development potential not only for households but also for national economy, therefore the government is focused on concrete projects and investments.
In the light of public accountability tour, PM Edi Rama stopped Friday in Himara where he had a meeting with the local residents.
Co-governance with citizens, according to Rama, is a great challenge which is meant to built every step of the way a real coalition of the ruling Socialist Party with ordinary people for Albania we want.
I am very pleased that we have the opportunity to communicate directly in an accountability campaign, the first time ever for a ruling party to meet with people in this format, not for purpose of elections but to share what has been done and what needs to be done in the future, Rama said.
Rama emphasized that everyone can witness the big change all along the Ionian coast and how change has started to materialize across the municipality of Himara municipality.
Himara does not only belong to Himara people but to the whole country due to its great development potential for households and national economy, Rama said.
Investments, according to him, are inclined to stimulate economy. Here we have private investments ranging from small investments such as converting homes into guesthouses to major infrastructure investments up to the standards, Rama said.
