TIRANA, May 22/ATA/-Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj stated on Tuesday that Arbëreshi people of Italy have always been a source of inspiration and strength for all the Albanians. During a meeting in Italy with representatives of the Arbëreshi people, he held in high esteem their commitment to conservation and cultivation of the Albanian national identity.
“Kosovo is approaching with the European family and this is an opportunity of our spiritual and national connections getting stronger and stronger”, said Haradinaj.
He invited the representatives of Arbëreshi cultural organizations to visit Kosovo highlighting their conservation in centuries of the identity, language, and Albanian and Christian values, inherited since that time.
PM Haradinaj also visited the Arbëreshi Catholic Church of St Thomas and the Greek College while the intellectual Domenico Morelli spoke about the historical and cultural values of these two monuments./m.z//r.e/p.s./
