TIRANA, May 15 /ATA/- The DP MPs have stopped parliamentary committees from holding the parliamentary proceedings and discussing the draft laws set on their agenda.
The meeting of Media Committee on cultural heritage and museums bill was derailed not only by the opposition members of this committee but also by other DP lawmakers, who are not part of this committee.
The chairman of DP parliamentary group, Edmond Spaho, said: No parliamentary committee will work in normalcy until Minister of Interior Fatmir Xhafaj submits his resignation.
Also at the meeting of Parliamentary Economy and Finance Committee presided over by SP lawmaker Erion Braçe, DP lawmakers demanded the resignation of Interior Minister amid a heated debate.
