TIRANA, May 15 /ATA / – The Kosovo Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Shyqyri Bytyqi received in a meeting UNICEF’s Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia, Afshan Khan where they discussed the possibilities of strengthening mutual partnerships for early childhood education, improving quality in education and other issues of interest .
On this occasion, Minister Bytyqi thanked the representatives of UNICEF for the continuous cooperation and support in the education of Kosovo children’s rights, and emphasized the need to further deepen this cooperation.
“Given the importance of early childhood education, we are committed to increasing the number of children 3-5 years because we currently do not have the capacity to achieve the European standards in this regard,” Minister Bytyqi added.
