TIRANA, May 9 /ATA/ – EU membership should be appreciated as a joint effort to move forward and for the citizen’s benefit, the Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruçi stated.
“European integration is the most encouraging incetive for building a democratic Albania as well as developing a stable economy and prosperity. We must work hard for the well-being of the Albanians,” Ruçi stressed.
“The successful EU enlargement experience towards Eastern and Central European countries shows us that, the EU’s accession objective can only be achieved through a long-term and stable consensus between the majority and the opposition,” the Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruçi stated during a conference on the Europe Day held on May 9, every year.
Also , Ruçi praised the legislative and political role of the Albanian Parliament in the country’s integration processes.
