I welcomed EC’s recommendation for Albania opening of the EU accession negotiations
TIRANA, April 22 /ATA/-Member of the European Parliament and member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Eduard Kukan hailed the recommendation of the European Commission for Albania opening of the EU accession negotiations
Speaking to ATA, MEP Kukan said that he welcomed the European Commission’s recommendation for opening of the negotiations with Albania. “I hope that the country will soon have an opportunity for opening the negotiations and encourage the process of reforms”.
Kukan emphasized that Albania must improve the rule of law and yield tangible results.
“Albania must assert the progress with the rule of law and continue to yield tangible results in fight against corruption and organized crime”, said Kukan to the ATA./e.caushi/p.s./
