PM Rama talked about the recent debate on toll imposition in the “Nation’s Highway”.

“Residents who own a car and Kosovo people going there on vacation will have to pay under a simplified system taking into account their social conditions,”PM Rama said.
“The contract is a reliable product, designed with the direct assistance of the international institution (IFC). I personally made a public apology for the recent problems and we take moral responsibility before residents,”Albanian PM Rama stated.
“There is no reason to hide and not face the truth. The truth is that we have had a deficiency for which we take responsibility, “PM Rama added.
“Nation’s Highway has been threatened by irreversible ruin, causing landslide fortunately, there have been no casualties. Tunnel damages cost 50 million euros, ” Prime Minister Rama added.
PM Rama also stated that operation would not begin without determining first the area residents toll road .
“Our country is in a situation where taxes have been decreased. Small businesses pay zero taxes. All those receiving salary of 300 000 ALL pay zero taxes. The middle class, teachers, nurses, doctors pay less. Those receiving highest salaries pay high taxes, “Rama said.
“Albania has the highest prices in the region in terms of airline tickets as the result of a concession made for Rinas Airport, which was built incorrectly.
