TIRANA, March 31 /ATA/ – Employment in Albania has increased by around 1396 during March alone in a significant jobs growth across the country.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared via Facebook on Saturday the latest data released by the National Employment Service, saying the employment figures and jobs growth in March were significant.
The National Employment Service data show that Tirana, Albania’s capital, accounts for the largest share of employment growth with 252 persons employed during March, followed by Durres with 221 employed persons, and then by Fier (212), Shkodra (166), Korça (89), Elbasan and Berat with 87 employed persons each, Vlora (77), Lezha (70), Gjirokaster (65), Kukes (47) and Dibra (23).
“Good morning and through this significant result of the National Employment Service for March, I wish you all a relaxing weekend,” PM Rama wrote on his Facebook page.
Providing employment instead of the social welfare cash benefits is the government’s top priority to help low income and needy families to find a decent job through cooperation with the business community and the National Employment Service.
