TIRANA, March 30/ATA/-A team of gynaecologists from the Maternity Home “Queen Geraldine” in the capital Tirana realized two complicated interventions and some 12 echocardiographies at the regional hospital of Dibra, in North-Eastern Albania.
The specialist doctors from the university hospital centre of Tirana are applying a rotation system according to which they offer specialized services where the need arises in the regional hospitals countrywide and receive reward.
Actually, there are three doctors who are serving at Dibra hospital on a three shift basis in fields where there happened to be pronounced shortages like anaesthetic, intensive care, gynaecology.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has announced that other specialist doctors will join in the near future the team of doctors in Dibra hospital so that to provide quality service near the dwelling place of the citizens. z.tosku/ /a.g/p.s./
