TIRANA, March 19/ATA/- The heavy rainfall has caused flooding in several areas of Albania. Thus, in the Northern Shkodra region there has been flooded an area of about 2520 hectares.
Albania’s Ministry of Defence has sent aid relief to the flooded households in Shkodra.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Defence, a food aid of 500 food packages was planned to be distributed on Monday in line with the needs presented by Shkodra City Hall and the schedule made by the Department of Agriculture and Food.
The flood relief consists even of 30 tents as well as blankets, beds and other necessary means./k.s/ /a.g/p.s./
