New infrastructure at Bahçallëk bridge eases traffic flow into Shkodra

TIRANA, October 27 /ATSH/ – The construction works on the Bahçallëk bridge is progressing rapidly as part of an infrastructure project at the entrance to the Northern city of Shkodra.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared footage today of the construction of the new Bahçallëk bridge in Shkodra, noting that the investment will ease the movement at the city’s entrance.

Rama emphasized that work on the bridge is moving forward at a fast pace, aiming to ensure easier access, safer traffic flow and modern infrastructure.

The project seeks to improve traffic flow and road safety, while also strengthening Shkodra’s connections with the rest of the country.

The new Bahçallëk bridge is part of a series of infrastructure interventions designed to improve the city’s entrance and mobility in the area. It connects the city of Shkodra with areas beyond the Drin and Kir rivers, playing a vital role in connectivity and travel toward the northern part of the country. /m.m/j.p/p.s./
