TIRANA, September 8/ATA/ Minister of Defense Ermal Nufi received today Major General Jasper Jeffers, Commander, U.S. Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) and at the same time Commander of the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza.
During the meeting, the interlocutors positively assessed the significance of the close partnership between Albania and the United States of America in the field of defense and security.
“Our strategic partnership and joint commitment to NATO are evidence of the strong bond between our two countries and an important basis for strengthening security, defense capacities and stability in our region”, said Nufi.
The minister assured that Albania remains determined to further promote cooperation with the US and to contribute to joint international missions, strengthening the Alliance and common security. /m.m/a.f/p.s./
