TIRANA, August 21/ATA/ The military has joined firefighting efforts in several parts of the country.
Minister of Defense Ermal Nufi said that during the night, 252 Land Force personnel—supported by aircraft and heavy equipment—continued operations in Milot, Puka, and Vlora to assist local communities and emergency crews.
Minister Nufi stated that the Armed Forces remain fully mobilized and are working side by side with residents to fight ongoing fires.
The Armed Forces are working with civil protection and local teams to contain and extinguish wildfires, prioritizing the safety of residents and their properties.
