TIRANA, August 3 /ATA/ A forest fire in the village of Dardha, Librazhd, is still active and has burnt for a sixth consecutive day, scorching 6 hectares. According to Fire Protection and Rescue Chief Partizan Ballolli, 15 personnel—including 12 firefighters and 3 forestry workers—are deployed on site and are working to put out the fire.
” Strong winds, high heat, and steep mountains are making it hard for firefighters to put out the fire.”, said Ballolli.
Librazhd firefighters and civil emergency teams are working to contain the active fires and stop them from spreading. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
