TIRANA, July 22/ATA/ Speaker of the Assembly Niko Peleshi held a great meeting with the US Congress and the POPVOX Foundation representatives on the sidelines of the regional workshop on modernizing parliaments through AI, hosted at the Albanian Parliament.
Representatives from the parliaments of Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Moldova were also attending the workshop to exchange experiences and best practices on integrating Artificial Intelligence into parliamentary processes.
The meeting focused on how new technologies can streamline legislative processes, promote transparency, and broaden public access to parliamentary information.
Artificial Intelligence is bringing significant changes to the way modern parliaments function, offering new opportunities for information processing, managing institutional processes and communicating with the public.
With concrete steps toward digitalization, the Albanian Parliament aims to set the regional standard for technological modernization. This progress is backed by a valued strategic partnership with the United States, whose continuous support helps us build institutional capacity and drive these vital innovations forward.
