TIRANA, July 19 /ATA/ Agrotourism is emerging as a vital driver of socio-economic progress across regional communities, generating local jobs and revitalizing rural economies.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared in the social media views of the “N’Kanu” agrotourism in the village of Perlat in Mirdita. He appreciated that N’Kanu agritourism is a brilliant example of Albanian emigrants returning to invest in their homeland. Their vision breathes new life into rural tourism, merging traditional mountain architecture with authentic local hospitality.
“After years in emigration, Ermal Dukaj decided to return to his homeland to invest in land and family heritage, adding a new dimension to a guesthouse that dates back to 1997,” Rama wrote.
According to him, the “N’Kanu” guesthouse has expanded thanks to the support of the IPARD II program.
“With the support of the IPARD II program, he expanded the accommodation capacities and transformed “N’Kanu” into a welcoming destination for domestic and foreign visitors,” Rama emphasized.
Rama also highlighted the fact the farm produces 80% of what it supplies, which guarantees authentic, fresh food straight from the source. /m.q/j.p/p.s./
