TIRANA, July 8 /ATA/ – More than 250 students in the municipality of Kamza, Tirana district, are taking part in sports and recreational activities during the summer holidays under the “Sport-Summer 2026” programme, held at the Shaban Uka sports complex.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared footage of the activities on Wednesday, praising the students’ enthusiasm and participation in the initiative, which aims to promote active lifestyles and the productive use of free time.
The programme offers students the opportunity to take part in basketball, volleyball and tennis, as well as group games and other recreational activities, providing a social and educational environment during the school break.
Organisers say the initiative is intended to encourage physical activity, foster a stronger sporting culture among young people and provide children with opportunities to develop teamwork and build new friendships over the summer.
