TIRANA, July 3 /ATA/ – Albania’s agricultural producer price index rose by 1% in 2025, reaching 151.2 compared with 149.6 a year earlier, the National Institute of Statistics, INSTAT, said on Friday.
According to INSTAT, prices of crop products increased by 1.4% year-on-year, while prices of livestock products rose by 0.5%.
The overall increase was driven mainly by higher prices in crop production, which recorded the strongest growth during the period.
The agricultural output price index measures the prices received by farmers for their products and is used as a key indicator of developments in the agriculture sector.
