TIRANA, June 29/ATA/ Shkodra’s new multifunctional entrance park is taking shape daily for all age groups. Sharing construction site footage online, Prime Minister Edi Rama highlighted how the area is evolving from an illegally occupied space into a modern, transformative hub for the northern capital.
Spanning 17-18 hectares, the new park will serve as a vibrant community hub. It offers dedicated sports zones, walking and biking trails, scenic lake overlooks and dynamic open-air venues for activities and concerts.
Funded entirely by the Albanian Government, the Albanian Development Fund is building a major multifunctional park along the Buna River to transform Shkodra. Key highlights include a new tourist harbor near the Buna Bridge and a museum celebrating the city’s centuries-old history.
This project will drastically reduce urban congestion by expanding the route from the Berdic Arch to the Bahçallëku Bridge and widening the bridge to four lanes. /e.i/j.p/p.s./
