TIRANA, June 22/ATA/ The Euro reached an unprecedented low against the Lek at the start of the week, trading at 94.3 lekë, according to the Bank of Albania.
The European currency has now weakened by 2.6% since the beginning of the year and is down 3.8% compared to the same time last year.
The US dollar lost ground today, falling to 82.30 lekë—a 0.12 lekë drop from the weekend.
The British pound followed suit, dropping 0.24 lekë to 108.83 lekë.
Meanwhile, the Swiss franc suffered the steepest decline, dropping 0.40 lekë to trade at 101.92 lekë
