What do Serbs have to do with Zvërnec protests, asks Balla

TIRANA, June 6 /ATA/ Chairman of the Parliamentary group of the Socialist Party Taulant Balla reacted today regarding the protest organized in Zvërnec.

Balla published in the social media images of the participants in the protest, while drawing attention to the cars with Serbian license plates that have joined the protest.

“They supposedly ‘love’ Albania more than we do, yet they’re the ones importing demonstrators to Zvërnec. Why should these cars with Serbian license plates and Serbs be protesting for Zvërnec?!”, asked Balla.

Civil society, activists and citizens gathered today in the area of Porto Novo and Dalani beach in Vlora to protest against an investment project in Zvërnec.

With banners “Hands off Narta” and red and black flags, citizens marched along the seashore demanding the protection of nature. According to them, this area has special significance both for the local community and for the city of Vlora as a whole. /m.m/r.e/p.s./
