PM Rama: Zvërnec protests have lost their core focus, increasingly influenced by external interests

TIRANA, June 3/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama assured citizens today that Albania will be developed exactly as outlined in the mandate he secured last May with the support of over 800,000 Albanians worldwide.

Regarding the ongoing demonstrations in Zvërnec, he expressed regret, characterizing the opposition as an orchestrated crowd manipulated by external forces.

“Regarding the ongoing Zvërnec protests, our work will continue according to the mandate entrusted to us last May. We are focused on delivering on our promises and building the future we were elected to create,” said Rama, publishing footage from the protest.

The prime minister stressed that the initial reasons for this protest are gone; it is now fueled by foreign interests aiming to stop Albania from reaching the elite level of global tourism. /m.m/j.p/p.s./
