TIRANA, May 22/ATA/ The Council of the EU has approved a third €21 million assistance package for Albania under the European Peace Facility, bringing total European support to €49 million.
Today, the Minister of Defense Ermal Nufi announced a new military aid package for the Albanian Armed Forces. It includes light armored vehicles, tactical and engineering vehicles, as well as essential training and operational support.
“Fantastic news! The EU is continuing its strong backing of the Albanian Armed Forces with another vital funding measure for our defense and security”, said Nufi.
This demonstrates Albania’s credibility, commitment, and active role as a trusted security partner alongside our European allies, said the minister. /m.m/r.e/p.s./
