TIRANA, April 23/ATA/ Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu stated today that Albania has reaffirmed its commitment to placing women at the center of its tech evolution, promoting their active role in innovation and cybersecurity.
During an event organized by the National Authority for Cybersecurity on the International Day of Girls in ICT, Koçiu focused on Albania’s extraordinary transformation in the field of technology and artificial intelligence.
“We are fully aware that AI and information technology offer unique opportunities to overcome the historical development gap. We have digitized 1,300 public services on the e-Albania platform, offering citizens instant access and eliminating traditional waiting times. The digitalization of services is only one part of a very large mosaic,” Koçiu added.
Koçiu emphasized that technological progress is meaningless without simultaneous advancements in gender equality.
Koçiu emphasized that Albania has already confirmed that it can move quickly in digital transformation.
“We celebrate leaders like Mira Murati, but we must do more. This ICT Day, let’s accelerate opportunities for women to innovate, lead, and redefine the future of technology”, said Koçiu. /j.p/p.s./
