DURRËS, April 20/ATA/ Upgrades to the ‘Taulantia’ promenade in Durrës are progressing rapidly, with completion scheduled for June, just in time for the summer tourist season.
ATA is closely monitoring the site as construction begins on the shading structures designed by the renowned Bofill Taller de Arquitectura. These elements are set to redefine the coastal public space.
The ‘Taulantia’ promenade project embodies the signature style of Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, blending monumental geometric shapes with innovative concrete and steel construction.
The project enhances the area with new parks, lighting, and sports facilities, improving community well-being and tourism.
The promenade is being upgraded with dedicated pedestrian and bike lanes to create a more functional, visitor-friendly seafront.
