TIRANA, April 10/ATA/ Former New York Mayor Eric Adams has been granted Albanian citizenship and a passport via a presidential decree.
The granting of citizenship was made following a request by Adams himself.
During his October 2025 visit to Albania, Mayor Adams met with Prime Minister Edi Rama to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and boosting tourism.
As mayor, he has consistently shown strong support for Albania and the local Albanian community. /gj.m/a.f/p.s./
