TIRANA, April 2/ATA/ Minister of State and Chief Negotiator of Albania in the European integration process Majlinda Dhuka said that Albania is accelerating its EU accession, with robust reforms creating a fundamental, nation-wide transformation.
During a conversation with students, Dhuka stated that true progress isn’t just about meeting technical criteria; it’s about the tangible improvements membership brings to everyday life.
According to Dhuka, the transformation of the country in many areas is at the core of this process.
Dhuka described the European Union as “an ocean of opportunities”, mentioning the programs and space it offers for young people.
In this context, Dhuka presented the idea of a new “social contract” with youth, in function of the objective “Albania 2030 in the EU”. This initiative, according to her, is based on three main pillars.
“We want to sign a new social contract with youth for Albania 2030 in the EU. The initial idea has three pillars. The first is young people as part of the European transformation with their ideas and engagement in the 600 European transformation initiatives that we have been promoting over the past two years”, Dhuka stated.
“The second pillar is young people as developers of the opportunities of these opportunities, possibly of the EU, from entrepreneurship, to movement, to innovation and so on. The third pillar is young people as European ambassadors; we need your voice, in the family, in the audience, on social media; you have your communities where you influence. We need your voice. Let’s turn Albania 2030 in the EU into a trend within Albania and abroad”, Dhuka said. /m.q/j.p/p.s./
