TIRANA, April 2 /ATA/ The 9-year school “Ali Laçej” in Shkodra has taken on a new look, once the surrounding areas were functional again.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared in the social media a view of the school, in which investments have enhanced both the pedagogical environment and extracurricular opportunities.
According to Rama, the “Ali Laçej” school is another evidence of the fact that clear space makes clear the change.
“The entrance to the school used to be through the back door while half of the yard was occupied. Today, there is a new space with more dignified conditions for the students and teaching staff,” wrote the prime minister.
Now, the adjusted space serves teaching, sports, arts, crafts and community activities, for the benefit of over 150 students, teachers and the entire community surrounding the school.
Abandoned for years, the numerous bars, car washes, and water motors that had long obstructed the school entrance were finally cleared in September 2025 as part of a public space rehabilitation initiative. /m.m/a.f/p.s./
