TIRANA, March 28 /ATA/ – The Technological and Economic Development Area in Tirana (TEDA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the European Chamber of Commerce in Dubai, aiming to boost foreign direct investment and support the development of strategic sectors in Albania.
The agreement, part of the “Digital Horizons” initiative, was concluded during the MatchMaker Albania event, a platform designed to foster international partnerships and business-to-business (B2B) engagement between Albanian companies and global partners.
Officials said the initiative is already yielding tangible results, with several agreements being formalized to support the country’s economic development.
A key role in the process is being played by the Albanian Investment Development Agency, which facilitates connections between local businesses and international investors, helping identify new opportunities and strengthen the investment ecosystem within TEDA Tirana.
The partnership is expected to attract foreign companies to establish operations in the zone, creating a favorable environment for innovation, technology and sustainable economic growth.
