TIRANA, March 24/ATA/ Vlora municipality has launched an operation to demolish illegal structures along the high-water channel to tackle chronic flooding.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media footage from this action, while praising the initiative taken by Mayor of Vlora Brunilda Mersini.
Rama assessed that the high-water canal is being converted from a polluting flood risk into a green corridor for the city of Vlora.
” A fantastic initiative by the mayor, who has started her mandate on the right foot”, praised Rama.
Vlora is accelerating the removal of illegal, flood-prone structures along its high-water channel to prevent future winter disasters. /m.m/a.f/p.s./
